Love onions
Love carrots
and rosemary and garlic
And some nights, I especially love a quick and easy dinner.
So I chopped up the first three loves tossed them with olive oil and the next two, and YUM!
Oh, yeah. I also threw some Trader Joe's Basil Sausages in a frypan to keep all the deliciousness company.
For the detailed oriented,
Here's the recipe:
2 cups of chopped apples
3 carrots, chopped
1 white onion, chopped
3 Tablespoons Olive oil
1 tsp Chopped Rosemary
1/2 tsp garlic
and salt to taste
Mix everything up and pour on a parchment covered baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
Easy-Peasy!!
I am writing down this recipe for my run to the grocery store. It looks like a perfect weeknight dinner! And I'm looking forward to the apples :)
ReplyDeleteYou will love it!! I'm adding apples to so many recipes! The chicken and kale soup I just added, has an apple. It really helps balance the bitterness of the kale without adding any sweetness to the recipe!! Hope you like it!!
