Bulgogi, Korean Barbecued Beef, 불고기


The first time I ate Bulgogi was in Biloxi, Mississippi, and I had no idea it was a Korean dish, much less how to pronounce it. The only thing I did know was that it smelled wonderful and tasted even better. Since then I have tried many different Korean dishes, but Bulgogi has remained a favorite. The traditional recipe calls for triple the garlic, brown sugar instead of maple syrup, and is always served with a side of Kimchi (pickled vegetables), but I'm sure you will enjoy a few Paleo amendments.
